The Pope with a Present Cute Religious Christmas Ornament

I am not Catholic but of course Pope Francis is a cultural icon so how could you possibly pass this up? It's a fun ornament and is very well made.

Ordered this because I was a fan of Pope Francis (may he RIP) and also because it kind of looks like him...and I thought it would be a cute addition to our "a little bit of everything" tree that we have in the office. Once it arrived, I was impressed with how detailed it is but also it was a little comically so, where when you look close up, it doesn't really look like Pope Francis and the smile, as other reviewers have noted, is kind of hilarious. It is still a super cute ornament and definitely a conversation piece - it's silly and cute but still cool and awesome anyway - in a way that is hard to put into words. Let's put it this way: if you are looking for a great "gag" gift, something to give your very religious grandma, or something to give a random person in a gift exchange...this is perfect for those purposes and much more, LMAO.

It is a nicely made ornament either way, and we love ours...definitely a keeper. Highly recommend this item - it's fun and funny...and sure to bring a smile to the face of anyone you give it to (hopefully not a creepy smile like the ornament has, ha ha!)

I got this for a friend who loves the Pope. It feels like it's high quality and has a good amount of heft - but not so much that it would drag down a tree branch. It also stands up on it's own, so if you wanted to put it on a shelf somewhere you could!

This is not your usual, unusual ornament. Those are a bowl of ramen or a T-Rex riding a rainbow, but the Buddee Pope is up there. It’s understated weird, and I like it!

I put it on a rainbow tree and I think I need 7 more in various colors to feel complete. I can paint some Popes.

This is something I’d get for a secular gift exchange to see the reveal faces - it would be good I’m pretty certain.

My dad and I have a weird thing where we keep getting each other weird Pope gifts. This has been going on since 2005. We're not even Catholic, I don't know what's wrong with us. Anyway, I saw this and knew what I had to do. The problem? I saw when it got here and had an internal struggle wanting to keep it myself. In the end I'll give it to him and likely order another for myself. The color is great and precise with sharp lines and no bleeding or off center painting. It's adorable and silly and perfect.
