Bald Eagle Christmas Tree Topper - 10" Patriotic Holiday Decoration

He sits on top of my America tree.

I grabbed this bald eagle topper mostly as a joke for my christmass tree this year. My friends usually expect something a little weird from me so I thought this would fit the bill. It turns out I actually dont mind the way it looks up there at all. The thing is 10 inches tall and 9 inches wide which is a pretty decent size for a standard tree. It has a hollow plastic build so it is really lightweight and does not make the top branch sag.

The base has a simple opening that you just slide right over the top of the tree. I was worried it might fall off or tilt but it stays pretty sturdy once you get it in place. The detail on the feathers is surprisingly good for plastic and it looks like it is standing guard over the living room. I might even leave it out for the 4th of July or Memorial Day since it is so patriotic ;). It feels like a solid choice if you want something different than a basic star or angel. I think the quality is fine and it adds a funny touch to thier holiday decor.

Used for a Christmas tree topper with military theme. I inserted a dowel rod (painted black) into bottom opening & zip tied to tree, worked great.

I got this for our friend who is obsessed with eagles. It is made of a heavy duty plastic which is nice because I was nervous that it would break. There is a hole on the bottom so you can easily slide it onto the tree top. I will say it’s a little on the heavy side for a tree topper but as long as your tree has a strong top you should be fine. This is definitely a fun gift for someone who loves eagles!
