Creepy Zombie Nun Halloween Horror Ornament Spooky Decoration

I bought this as a gag gift for a friend but now I kinda want one for myself. The details are creepy-cool—glowing red eyes, little chalice, rosary, everything. It’s heavier than I expected for a small ornament which makes it feel higher quality. The paint job is surprisingly good too. We hung it on a Halloween tree and it’s the first thing people notice. Definitely not your average cute ornament, but that’s what makes it fun. Great gift for horror fans.

This zombie nun ornament is surprisingly creepy. My kids and I do a fun Halloween tree and were stoked for this one. It’s an expected size which is suitable enough for our little tree. It was easy to hang. It’s of solid build but not too heavy to weigh down branches. It’s ugly, spooky and great for Halloween. The eyes are fairly wonky on mine; they’re uneven as well as the eyebrows. I don’t think this is a must have or anything to write home about as far as value.

I don’t know what possessed me (ha) to get this Tree Buddees Creepy Zombie Nun Halloween Ornament, but I knew as soon as I saw it that I needed it. I love kitschy stuff and have space on my bookshelf, so why not? Even though I don’t ever have a Christmas tree (or Halloween tree, if that’s a thing?) the design is so funny and inventive that I wanted one for display. And I’m glad I got it, because in person it’s just like the photo. It’s quite well made, VERY solid and dense, with a nice heft to it, but not so heavy that it would overly weigh down a tree branch. Imagine a very high quality resin Christmas ornament. That’s what this is, essentially. Not cheap plastic at all. It stands on its own, so you don’t have to necessarily hang it as an ornament, you can put it anywhere you want for display. The satiny matte finish of the black paint is really lovely, as is the contrast with the different colors and textures of the green skin and the copper metallic cup. I very much like the attention to detail, including the red eyes. I haven’t decided on a name yet, I’m choosing between either Mother Brainedicta or Sister Mary Putrefactia. I’m super satisfied with this, and I think it’s worth the price considering the novelty, the quality of construction and painting, and attention to detail. This scary sister is going right up on my bookshelf where she can keep watch over my living room. Definitely a 5/5 for me!

I know most people will probably put this on a Halloween tree, but I am going to set it on a shelf in a bathroom as a small decoration. But, come Christmas, I am putting it on my Christmas tree. I like an eclectic tree with all sorts of ornaments and I have almost every kind of odd and strange thing on it, but I did not have a Zombie Nun until now. This is well made from heavy resin. Great paint work and highly detailed. Comes with hanging rope or you can cut it and use a traditional metal ornament hanger if you prefer.

This being the second ornament I’ve gotten (and definitely not the last) from this company, I can say with confidence that they do not make cheap kitschy stuff. These ornaments are the kind that could very well be passed down as an heirloom. The weight is indicative of quality resin material so it will require a heavier branch to be hung from or simply hung somewhere else. The paint job appears hand done, and done pretty well.
Overall, this is a great product from a great company!
