Purple Fire-Breathing Dragon Christmas Tree Topper - 11" Tall

This tree topper is so fun and unique. I love it for its originality alone. It's also a great size and would work well on pretty much any size tree (although smaller ones may require more stabilization).

It's a lightweight resin-like material and seems like it will be pretty durable. I do think it's a bit of a steep price tag for the quality but it is very cute and I haven't seen one quite like this.

Okay, you could use this as a tree topper, but it is not very adjustable for that purpose. So, first thing - exercise caution when ordering anything from Tree Buddees because they come in this plastic container that isn't prepped properly to toss in a box with other heavy things. This is my 4th product from them and I'm ASTONISHED that it arrived in one piece - it was in a box with a 2lbs roll of 3d printer filament and not packed tightly so there was room for things to bounce off one another. I've had smaller ornaments arrive broken and they had to be glued back together, which was disappointing.

Second thing - most of the ornaments this company produces are around $15 each. And this thing is easily the size of 3-4 of them. So, I want to be bugged that the price is $50, but I can kind of understand. This isn't a small tree topper and to be honest, I do have concerns on whether my 5ft pencil tree will be able to hold it, but we'll see.

Third, yes, paint rubbed off the flame onto the inside of the box. I really wish the company would work on their product packaging and invest in foam or something to help protect their designs. The dragon is cool and I don't have any large grievances with it, especially since it arrived in one piece. I want to see the company care more about how the consumer receives the product though.

Anyway. I still think the topper is adorable. It's big, but not lighted. Feels sturdy and looks cook. I'm ready for the holiday season and am glad the shipping gamble worked in my favor :)

This is in fact a plastic dragon tree topper that looks almost exactly like the picture. It is very lightweight and it is fun and whimsical. I do think that this topper will work best on artificial trees, as you will have to maneuver the top branch to go through the tail and into the arm. The packaging it came in was very flimsy and falling apart, but seeing as the dragon is not fragile, I've elected to just recycle the box anyway.
I do wish that there was some element that lights up with this topper and with the fact that the dragon is clutching the star and breathing fire...it just feels like a missed opportunity. The paint job is a little lacking, and I don't understand what is going on with the claw clutching the star - but again, this is reflected in the pictures listed with description, so I can't really complain.
If you are looking to change up your tree, this is a lot of fun. I will add though that the topper I received measures at just 10" x 7.8" which is not a big deal, but something worth noting I suppose.

I have several ornaments and other Christmas decor from Tree Buddees. Usually, I am super happy with their products. This dragon tree topper is disappointing. The dragon comes in a very cheap plastic box. The box was not in the best shape and there was even paint that had come off of the dragon onto the plastic of the box. The tip of the flames on mine is slightly chipped and scuffed. This led to several areas with scuff marks and missing paint on the dragon. There is also a couple of areas where there are shiny marks and plastic that is flaking off the edges. The stomach of the dragon is not painted the best. Most of that won’t show when it’s on a tree.
For a $50 tree topper, I feel like this dragon should have been much better.
