Playing Cat Christmas Ornament Display Holder 10" x 4.5" (Black Cat)

This will hold just about any ornament securely. It was much heavier than I anticipated and is very well cast and painted. This sits securely on a flat surface with no wobbling. I got this to hold an ornament I got my parents for their 60th wedding anniversary. Since they no longer put up a tree, I wanted to find a way for them to be able to display the ornament and saw this. They love our four cats but don't want any of their own - they prefer to live vicariously through ours - so having a kitty Tree Buddee is perfect for them!

This is a pretty cute ornament holder. It is great for a big ornament you want to have out but don't want or doesnt fit on a tree. I love the silliness of the cat and can't wait to see it out this Christmas.

I am a cat lover, and I had to have this unique and fun Christmas decor piece. You can use this in many ways! For a special ornament (what it is advertised for) - I personally see a cute, personalized ornament (like with a picture of family) going in this. But you can also use it with any round (or round-resembling) item if, say, you wanted to put it in your kitchen with an orange! Or your bathroom with some soap! And the list can go on. What I like about this is that it's not typical, it's cute and captures cat vibes well, and it's so versatile.

One of the best quality resin figures I've picked up recently and certainly one of the heaviest. Maybe I've just been buying cheap resin figures but the paint job on this one was so much better than I expected. Its vibrant and dimensional and overall the cast is pretty much perfect except for a minor cast crease that isn't really noticeable unless I'm looking at it up close from the right angle.

I don't have a 3" ornament yet but I had a cat treat toy that measured 2.92" on my caliper and it sits perfectly, no wobble. When the ornament is seated it really completes the visual. Without its a cat with its feet up and an odd grin, but with the ornament I see this happy kitty playing with it's ball and nuzzling it with delight. Definitely giving this one a prominent display spot come Christmas.

Comes encased within styrofoam in an illustrated carton. Oh and just as the product description states, there is no ornament included.

I almost didn't order this piece of Christmas décor, even though it features a cat. The reason is perhaps a small point, which is that the cat's mouth is open, and it looks almost cartoonlike, as if it's about to gleefully decapitate a mouse or bird rather than playfully hold a Christmas tree ornament, which is what it's designed for. Maybe that's just me, judging from the other reviews.

The piece is reasonably well made, and I imagine it will appeal to some. But it's just not my cup of tea.
