Greatness!

I love tree buddees ornaments as they offer unique and fun designs. We love Jacob and he stands out in such a great way. I can't wait to hang him on the tree. Good quality at a good price.

Unusual and wonderful

The thing that attracted me to this ornament in the first place was that I'd never seen anything even similar to it before. It's a ghoul for the tree (which is something I usually would stay away from) but such a well known ghoul that is part of one of the most well known Christmas stories of all time, that it could never be mistaken for anything (or anyone!) other than who he is. The ornament looks just like the pictures so if you like the pictures, you'll be happy with this one. My only small nit is that it is packaged in a thin plastic case and arrived in a bubble mailer; thankfully it wasn't damaged irreparably but the money box had dislodged from Jacob Marley's chain. A quick drop of super glue and it was as good as new but having to fix something right out of the package is annoying. I don't think this was a problem with the seller, however, so am happy to still give this product five stars.

Tree Buddees A Christmas Carol Ghost of Jacob Marley Ornament

"Marley was dead, to begin with. There is no doubt whatever about that..." Oh how I love A Christmas Carol! It is absolutely my favorite Christmas story. I watch as many adaptations of it that I can and I love to see live performances so when I saw this ornament, I knew I had to have it. He's so gruesome and perfect. A perfect representation of the character and when he's floating around on my tree, he will bring all the spirits of Christmases past present and future with him. If you like Dickens, this is a must have for your Christmas collection.

Not as nice looking as shown in the product photos

Unfortunately, the ornament was broken upon arrival (money box chain came apart). The ornament is well-formed of sturdy resin, and the coloring was applied fairly neatly (some blobs). The chains wrapped around the body are metal.
My issues with the ornament -besides being broken - are: The hair was poorly placed, and is not the same quality as shown in the product photos. It looks terrible, and makes the whole ornament look cheap. And you can’t take the hair off because it is covering a big hole at the top of the head. Also, I don’t like where the ornament hanger was placed. It is in the middle of Jacob’s back, so that, when you hang it, he’s pretty much facing downward (can’t see his face, just the awful hair). Would be better placed at his neck. Lastly, I think the name of the manufacturer on the back is way too big, and takes away the appeal of the ornamen
